Tomorrow (Aug. 25th) at 1:00PM EST, the recruiting world will have their focus set to San Bernardino, California to find out where 5-Star OT Austin Attalah will call home.
The 6-7 290 pound junior for Orange Lutheran (Calif.), choosing between USC, Texas, and Texas Tech, is the No. 1 ranked player in the state of California for the 2028 cycle.
Want to tune it? Head over to ESPN to see the announcement live on The Pat McAfee Show.
As it stands right now (currently 9:20 PM) the Red Raiders are the team to beat for the pancake maker, receiving a plethora of crystal balls across all platforms.
This comes after an impressive visit to Lubbock on June 19th, with development at the focal point of his decision, "For me, the decision carried a lot of research -- who's the developer, who's going to get me better and really get me to the next level." Attalah told 247Sports.
It's no question these 3 programs know how to maximize the most out of their talent: Texas Tech's line-of-scrimmage was dominant last year with a majority of first year transfers, USC always has an electric offense behind mastermind Lincoln Riley, and Texas just does what Texas does, spend the big bucks.
All that said, whoever lands Attalah is going to have a safety net of physicality that will give defenses problems once he gets on campus.
Tune in tomorrow to see who that program is. Give me the Red Raiders.
